luminant log cannot burn to charcoal and luminant sapling cannot used as furnace fuel

I thought to smelt luminant sap by charcoal which smelt from luminant log harvested from luminant tree or by luminant sapling, however I can’t burn luminant logs into charcoal nor use luminant saplings for fuel…
