Notebooks linked to "Estimating power in (generalized) linear mixed models: an open introduction and tutorial in R"

Kumle, L., Võ, M.LH. & Draschkow, D. Estimating power in (generalized) linear mixed models: An open introduction and tutorial in R. Behav Res (2021). https://doi.org/10.3758/s13428-021-01546-0

last update: May 2021

The following Notebooks aim at accompanying the Scenarios in Kumle, Vo & Draschkow (in preparation) - detailed theoretical background concerning the analyses can be found in the main tutorial. Besides the analyses mentioned in the main tutorial, the Notebooks contain additional information and tools to perform simulation based power analyses.

Scenario 1: Using an available well-powered design as a starting point

Scenario 2: Simulating different units and possible combinations

Scenario 3: Having strong and detailed a priori assumptions

Supplementary Notebook: Benchmarking mixedpower

Nested Designs: A GLMM example
