Automatic restart after language change doesn't work with Xubuntu 14.10 #118

Reproduce:

  • Change language.
  • Choose restart.

Get SIGSEGV in libgdk-x11-2.0

I was unable to reproduce this on Ubuntu 15.10 on a physical machine. 👍

Cannot reproduce on CentOS 7 64 Bit (Linux localhost.localdomain 3.10.0-327.4.4.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Jan 5 16:07:00 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) 👍

Unable to reproduce on Windows 7 64 Bit 👍 or Mac OS X (El Capitan) 👍

Similar bug with openSUSE Tumbleweed (Linux localhost 4.1.6-3-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Aug 28 10:59:34 UTC 2015 (d867e86) i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux), running in VMware. 👎

It's not Qt-SESAM's fault. This behavior is due to a possible bug in libgdk, maybe in interoperation with VMware. Don't know how to fix it.

Will keep this issue open for further reference.
